A common sight these days is mobile users carrying multiple handheld devices. Users can't do it anymore. Their cognitive ability is stretched when they try to juggle operations on all of them. The time has come to automate tasks which are triggered by events. So a boarding pass on an iPhone should pop up when its owner is in the airport waiting lounge. Its kind of like the Minority Report.
